Middle School Students Learn Coding Basics With Ozobots

Students tried their hands at coding while working with Ozobots in the library.

Ozobots are small, but smart, robots that students can program to perform a variety of tasks. These tasks can be as simple as directing the robots to speed up or slow down; or, they can be as complex as the mind can imagine.

Using the robots encourages teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, which was apparent the first time students took them out of the box.

While the Ozobots are currently residing in the library as part of our Makerspace activities, the goal is to begin using them in a variety of subject areas school-wide.
