Dear SDA Families,
We are writing to let you know we are aware of the online social media threat via Tik Tok, “America School Shooting Day” for tomorrow, December 17th. To our knowledge, these threats are not local but have been screen-captured and shared via social media across the United States. While these are generalized across the country, it is necessary for everyone to be aware of this social media threat.
We have been in contact with our local law enforcement and ensuring the proper precautions are in place. In accordance, we would like all students, parents, community members, and staff to contact your building office if you hear of any such threats, large or small.
We have no reason at this time to believe this is targeted at our schools. We will, as always, be very vigilant to make sure our students and staff have a great Friday!!!
