SDA FFA Members Recognized at SCC Beatrice
Launch the media gallery 1 playerFour SDA FFA members competed at the District I Leadership Development Events at SCC Beatrice on Tuesday, January 30. Freshmen Madison Kreifels performed the FFA Creed, receiving 2nd place and qualifying to the Nebraska FFA Convention in April. In addition to her speech, Kreifels was selected to sing a solo at Pinnacle Bank Arena and was also chosen to be in the Nebraska FFA Choir during the state convention. Three 8th graders also competed in middle school events. Bailey Boitnott wrote and performed an Agricultural Literacy speech designed to inform consumers about food production earning 2nd place and also qualified for the state convention. Lily Vollertsen and Jenna Knake both wrote and delivered speeches in the Discovery Speaking event, earning blue ribbons. Congratulations to our FFA members!
