New Lunch Company & Updated Meal Prices
We want to make families aware that we have contracted with a new food service company this year, Lunchtime Solutions, so you may notice some changes in the menus and options. We are excited to start off our new year with them and feel the students will really like the change. With this change, there is a New Lunch App Available. You can find the lunch menus on our website at www.sdarockets.org or at the following link: https://www.myschoolmenus.com/organizations/1961 , click on “Find a school…” and pick SDA Public Schools and under “Find a menu…” pick the menu you’d like to view, click “Go”. It will then bring up the menu and you will have the option it.
The charge for lunch will be $3.10 for students grades PK-3 and $3.35 for students 4-12. Breakfast will be $2.15 for all students. The adult lunch price is $4.60 and adult breakfast is $2.75. An application for free and reduced meals is enclosed in this mailing. Students who qualify for free lunch, also qualify for free breakfast.
Also, we would like to make parents aware that ala carte and extra entrees are available to students on a daily basis and they can charge these to their lunch accounts with parent permission. Just send a note or call the office to let them know your child has permission to charge extra items to their lunch account. Please also be aware that if your student is free or reduced lunch, that all extra entrees or ala carte will be charged at full price to their account. The free or reduced price only applies to their first lunch through the line.
