SDA FFA Chapter Receives $3,000 grant from the National FFA

This week the SDA FFA Chapter was awarded a $3,000 Living to Serve Grant from the National FFA.  The grant will be used to purchase two tower gardens where students will raise fresh vegetables and then give them to the school lunch program.  This program will be facilitated by FFA members in the SDA District as well as community members.  Congratulations to the SDA FFA Chapter!

Wilkinson and Ortiz Qualify for State XC

The Rocket Cross Country team qualified two individuals for the State Cross Country meet this Friday, October 19, in Kearney.  Sophomore Ellie Wilkinson finished 3rd at districts and Freshman Abby Ortiz finished 11th at districts to qualify for state.  Congratulations to Ellie and Abby and good luck at State XC!

Southeast Nebraska Parents of Children with Disabilities Information Meeting

  The Syracuse District Autism Team will be hosting an informational meeting for all Southeast Nebraska area parents of children with disabilities. Syracuse S-Club Athletic Hall of Fame Nominations

  The S-Club Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducting new members again this year. Last year in its inaugural year the Hall of Fame had 3 inductees. (Rich Ziegler, Lyle Nannen, and the 1954 State Champion basketball team) In order for the HOF to induct new members we need your help in submitting nominations.
