SDA HS J-D FBLA State Leadership Conference

Megan Wallman was elected FBLA State Secretary and six Syracuse FBLA members qualified for Nationals at the annual FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Omaha on April 4-6. Meredith Clark placed in the top two in three events, winning the Job Interview event which she will compete in at the National Leadership Conference. Baier and Ortiz Win Distinguished Scholar Awards

SDA senior Emily Baier and sophomore Mia Ortiz have been awarded a Nebraska Department of Education Distinguished Scholar Award.  The World Language Distinguished Scholar Award was developed to reward students for their leadership in language learning, commitment to language study, appreciation for cultural diversity, and communicative competence.  Emily and Mia were nominated by Mrs. Jacqueline Mohr, their Spanish teacher at SDA High School.  Congratulations to Emily and Mia!
