Students Compete in Greater Nebraska Science & Engineering Fair

In February, twelve middle school students qualified to move on to the Greater Nebraska Science and Engineering Fair. 

Below are the results of the GNSEF:

Zoey Sieck - Honorable Mention - Chemistry (not pictured)
Drew Paulsen - Honorable Mention - Chemistry
Camden Masters - 2nd - Energy: Sustainable Materials and Design (not pictured)
Reagan Wilhelm - 3rd - Materials Science
Brooklyn Parsons - Honorable Mention - Physics and Astronomy
Addison Bates - 1st - Plant Sciences
Kyle Cavanaugh - 2nd - Plant Sciences
Charlie Wilhelm - 3rd - Plant Sciences

Eighth grader Addison Bates was also recognized with several special awards. She received a $100 cash prize for an Outstanding Project in Plant Science. She received a $250 cash prize and a calculator from the GNSEF board for scoring in the top two in all junior-division projects and was nominated for BROADCOM MASTERS competition.
