SDA FBLA Students have Success at State
Congratulations to the following FBLA members on their success at the State Leadership Conference in Omaha.
Emma Bjork, 1st in Database Design, 2nd in Electronic Career Portfolio and 5th in Accounting; Jennifer Daharsh 2nd in Word Processing; Meredith Clark, 3rd in Computer Applications; Tyler Knake, 3rd in Database Design and 8th in Spreadsheet Apps. The Website Design team of Livia Wilhelm, Meredith Clark and Regan Petersen placed 1st. The Emerging Business Issues team of Ben Nannen, Maddie Werner and Dominick Lange placed 2nd. The Mobile Applications team of Megan Wallman and Brooklyn Nordhues placed 2nd. The Business Plan team of Ben Nannen, Meredith Clark and Pierce Agena placed 3rd. The top three places automatically qualify for Nationals. Reagan Petersen placed 5th in Future Business Leader and 7th in Job Interview. The Business Financial Plan team of Livia Wilhelm and Sage Beers placed 4th. The Management Information Systems team of Tyler Knake and Jackson Zastera placed 4th. Grant Orchard placed 5th in Introduction to Financial Math. In Accounting II, Sage Beers placed 4th, Livia Wilhelm placed 7th and Reagan Petersen placed 8th. In Introduction to FBLA, Jennifer Daharsh placed 6th and Megan Wallman placed 8th. The Hospitality Management team of Lauren Meyer, Reagan Petersen and Megan Wallman placed 8th. Receiving Honorable Mentions (top 4%) Sage Beers, Business Law, Lauren Meyer, Intro to FBLA and Word Processing, Emma Bjork, Job Interview and Future Business Leader, and the Partnership with Business project. The Chapter received the Sweepstakes Award and the Gold Seal Chapter Award. Recognized as All-State Quality Members were Emma Bjork, Maddie Werner, Reagan Petersen, Pierce Agena, Livia Wilhlem, Ben Nannen, Meredith Clark, and Megan Wallman. Emma Bjork and Reagan Petersen received Who’s Who in FBLA. Maddie Werner received the Business Achievement Award – Leader Level.
