Rocket Cheerleaders "Rock the Floor" at State

The SDA Rocket Cheerleading team competed at the State Cheer and Dance Competition in Grand Island on February 15, 2018.  The squad woke early at 4:30 a.m. to prepare for their Non-Tumbling performance at 9:24 a.m. that morning.  The team then waited until 1:47 p.m. that afternoon to perform their Sideline routine.  Five hours following their performance, the Rocket team were notified that they finished in 4th place for their Non-tumbling performance and 3rd place for their Sideline performance.  Soon after hearing the results, the Rockets were notified of a clerical error, and the team actually finished in a second place tie overall.  Congratulations to the Rocket Cheer team for their State finishes and a great season!
