FBLA has Success at the State Leadership Conference

April 11, 2017

Congratulations to the following FBLA members on their amazing success at the State Leadership Conference in Omaha.

Emma Bjork placed 1st in Computer Applications and 8th in Parliamentary Procedures. Meredith Clark placed 1st in Spreadsheet Applications and 3rd in Computer Applications. Matteo Antunez placed 1st in MOS- Excel and 2nd in Database Design. Ben Nannen placed 1st in Database Design. Chloe Moore placed 2nd in Business Plan. Reagan Petersen placed 2nd in Spreadsheet Applications and 2nd in Website Design with Livia Wilhelm and Maddie Werner. Mitchell McWilliams placed 3rd in Advanced Accounting and 4th with Livia Wilhelm and Pierce Agena in Business Financial Plan. Alyssa Rippe placed 3rd in Electronic Career Portfolio. The top three places automatically qualify for Nationals.

The Emerging Business Issues team of McWilliams, Moore and Nannen placed 5th. Anna Kastens placed 6th in Client Service. Jennifer Daharsh placed 8th in Word Processing. The Partnership with Business project presented by Emma Bjork, Alyssa Rippe, and Reagan Petersen placed 6th. The Community Service project presented by Maddie Werner, Livia Wilhelm, and Mitchell McWilliams placed 7th.

 Receiving Honorable Mentions (top 4%) Chloe Moore, Business Law and Journalism; Megan Wallman, FBLA Principles and Procedures; Tyler Knake and Jennifer Daharsh, Intro to Business Communications; Maddie Werner, Organizational Leadership; and Hospitality Management team of Reagan Petersen, Megan Wallman, and Lauren Meyer.

The Chapter received the Sweepstakes Award and the Gold Seal Chapter Award. Recognized as All-State Quality Members were Mitchell McWilliams, Alyssa Rippe, Anna Kastens, Chloe Moore, Emma Bjork, Maddie Werner, Reagan Petersen, Pierce Agena, and Livia Wilhlem.  Alyssa Rippe received Who’s Who in FBLA.
