2019 SDA Homecoming Dance

The SDA HS Student Council sponsored Homecoming dance will be held October 5, 2019, in the high school gym beginning at 8:00 pm and ending at 11:00 pm.  The dance is for students in grades 9-12.  To simplify the entrance process, tickets must be pre-purchased on September 27 and September 30 in the middle school commons during lunch periods for $4.  Following September 30, the price will be bumped up to $6 per ticket and must be purchased in the high school office.  Ticket sales will close on Friday, October 4, at approximately 4:00 p.m..  There will be no couple price, and tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door of the event.
If you plan to bring a date that does not attend SDA High School, you must complete and turn in an out-of-school date permission form before October 2.  The forms can be found in the high school office or on the school website and must be returned to the main office. Remember, in addition to the form, your out-of-school date will need both a ticket and a form of ID at the entrance to the dance, or he/she will not be permitted to enter.
The dress code for the dance has not changed this year. Boys should wear dress pants-khakis are permitted-and a collared shirt. Ties are not required. Girls’ dresses or other attire should be of appropriate length and cut. If you have questions regarding the dress code, make sure to check the announcements or school website for a full list of appropriate and inappropriate attire. Students who do not have a ticket or are in violation of the dress code will not be allowed to enter the dance.

Please see the attached documents for detailed information regarding the Homecoming dance.  Hope to see you there!
