JAG students used their skills in listening, creativity, time management, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategy to make spaghetti towers as an exercise for learning reinforcement. When time expired, the towers needed to be free-standing for 60 seconds. Michael Apel won honors for tallest tower at 18" while Turner Jording won honors for most creative tower as judged by Mrs. Wittler.

SDA teachers, Julie Beach and Megan Pitrat presented at the 2025 Nebraska MTSS Summit in Kearney, NE. They shared with educators from across Nebraska about the World War One project that current SDA 8th graders completed in the Spring of 2025.

They presented: Constructivist Co-Teaching with the Creative Research Stages: De-Silioing Special Education, English-Language-Arts, and Social

Studies.
The presentation highlighted how Mrs. Beach, Ms. Anderson, Mrs. Burr, and Dr. Pitrat worked together to make this innovative learning opportunity happen and how it can be replicated by other teachers.
