The Syracuse National Honor Society would like to recognize our November Rocket of the Month winners - Will Janssen & Capri Hansen
Our upperclassman winner Will Janssen was nominated by Mrs. Johnson for exemplifying leadership, service & character.
Will's nomination said:
Will always represents his school well, whether it is through leading the Veteran's Day program, giving positive vibes during his morning announcements, or saying hi to teachers and students in the hallway during passing periods. It is truly the little things on a daily basis that adds up to overall success and going above and beyond. A one-time above and beyond act is great, but the consistent little things that go above and beyond is exactly what Will Janssen does for our Rocket Family.
Our underclassman, Capri Hansen was nominated by Mrs. Simon for exemplifying scholarship, leadership and & character.
Capri's nomination said:
Capri is one of the most genuine individuals I have met. In the classroom, she sets high standards and works to achieve them. Her academic successes reflect her hard work. Her hard work isn't exclusive to the classroom, but can be seen in the various activities she is involved in. In and out of the classroom, she leads through encouragement and positivity. I often see her making sure everyone feels included and seen, even if just with a smile and a friendly greeting in the hallway.
