Day 2 of the Syracuse Rocket Youth Football Camp!

Day 1 of the 2026 Rocket Football Youth Camp!

There will be one last session for concussion baseline testing for high school athletes who haven't done it yet this summer on July 14th at 7am. Athletes should come to the middle school cafeteria with their phones that morning. They should download the Sway Medical app in advance. Athletes need to get this done in order to compete in Syracuse athletics. Junior High athletes will complete testing at a later date.

Mayson Sprague attended the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio to compete against students from all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, D.C., and Canada in the Real Estate test category because of her success at the State Leadership Conference in Kearney last April. We had a great time and are ready to kickstart our local Syracuse chapter into action, taking the programming, workshops, and keynote speakers wisdom back with us. Thank you to everyone who supported the Syracuse FBLA chapter to be as successful as it is today!

Congrats to Turner Jording, who just finished a week at Wayne State College music camp where he participated in concert band, jazz band, mariachi band, and choir! Way to go!

Girls basketball open gym is cancelled on Thursday, June 25. Please spread the word to any junior high players that were planning on attending.

Do you have a veteran in your life- past or present? SDA Civics class and the Otoe Co Museum of Memories are now collecting the histories of all Otoe Co Veterans. Please consider picking up a Veteran Profile Packet at the area libraries, clubs or Legions or follow the QR code below. We never want to forget the sacrifices made by our local veterans.

The past two days, members of the Syracuse High School Choir traveled Kansas City for a choir trip filled with activities and community-building. They had the honor to perform on the Worlds of Fun stage as part of their "Performance in the Park" experience!

High School Honor Rolls for 4th quarter and 2nd semester.

Our Junior High Awards Assembly on the last day of school was a wonderful celebration of student success! We recognized many outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, service and activities.
