Yesterday, the junior high state track qualifiers competed in Gothenburg. The girls 4x400m relay team of Harper Meyer, Oakley Janssen, Atley Liesemeyer, and Cora Hansen took home a 7th place medal. Hansen also placed 5th in the 400m dash. Emma Royal broke the school record in shot put with a throw of 31'4". Tayten McKenzie broke his own record in the 800m run with a time of 2:13.72. McKenzie and his teammates Will Lessmann, Grady Armagost, and Jackson Schroeder took home FIRST place in the 4x800m relay breaking their own record with a time of 9:05.00. Congratulations on a great season!
