Lefferdink and Hughes Finish Strong at State Championships
The Rocket Wrestling team sent four members to the state championships in Omaha this past weekend . Senior Caleb Lefferdink won a state title in the 285 lb. weight class, and fellow senior Max Hughes finished as a state runner-up in the 138 lb. weight class. Lefferdink and Hughes paced the Rockets to a Class C team finish of 9th overall. Fellow team members Nate Snyder and Spencer Bridgmon picked up wins in the consolation bracket for the Rockets as well. Congratulations to the team and coaches on an outstanding year!
