Winter Sports Update/Nannen Reaches 1,000 Point Milestone
The SDA Rocket Basketball and Wrestling teams continued winter sports play on Thursday night. The Rocket Wrestlers traveled to Norris and dropped their dual 15-61. Jace Goebel, Spencer Bridgmon, and Burton Brandt picked up wins for the Rockets. The Rocket Wrestlers will compete next at districts at David City Aquinas on February 8 and 9. The Rocket basketball teams traveled to Arlington last night for varsity games. The Lady Rockets lost 60-51 and the boys won 54-45. Senior Ben Nannen also reached 1,000 career points in the closing minutes of the game at Arlington. Congratulations to Ben for that accomplishment. The Rockets will be in action tonight at Platteview for a pair of varsity games. GO ROCKETS!!
