American Government Class to Unicameral

The Senior American Goverment class went to Lincoln Wednesday February 18, for their annual Nebraska Unicameral visit. The students visited the north balconey and witnessed the unicameral in session, took a tour of the law library, old senate chamber as well as the supreme court. Nebraska Supreme Cout Chief Justice Mike Heavican and Nebraska First District Senator Lavon Heidemann spoke to the class while at the capitol. The students then sat in on committee hearings in the afternoon.
