ASC (After School Club) Announces New Wednesday Club- Babysitting Club!

The Jr. High Rocket ASC is enjoying another successful year. This year 41 students have participated in ASC, and attendance in ASC activities has already reached over the 300 mark! There are still more activities and events to come for ASC and we are starting by offering a new club!
Taking care of children is an extremely responsible and important job. ASC is excited to partner with the University of Nebraska Extension Service in Otoe County to offer this great opportunity. Join the Babysitting Club and discover how to be a super sitter! Learn about child development, infant care, healthy snacks, emergency first aid and safety to help you become a babysitter in demand by both children and parents. The Babysitting Club will start on Wednesday, March 31st, and will go for six straight Wednesdays. Each week there will be important skills taught, so it is strongly encouraged that you make all six weeks of this club. The Babysitting Club will be in the FCS Room (Mrs. Beers Room) and will go from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for any 7th and 8th grade student to get prepared for all those fun summer babysitting jobs. Pre-registration is required. Please pick up a registration form from Ms. Davis or in the high school office.
