Art I Clay Figures

by Anna Sasse

November 17, 2009

Shape and form, what is the difference?  Art 1  learned that both are elements of design, but shape is two dimensional and form is three dimensional. Students studied the form of the human figure and how it moves and relaxes. The class looked at many examples of  sculptures through out history and the present and what materials were used to create sculptures. Students then used clay to form small figures. Take a tour through our gallery of figures and enjoy what students have created.
