Jensen, Juilfs qualify for state
Rocket golfers finish fourth

Tim Jensen and Will Juilfs led the Syracuse golf team to a fourth place finish at the Class B-1 district golf meet at the Beatrice Country Club Monday. Jensen fired a 39-44 to finish with an 83 for second place overall. He was the only golfer to shoot a sub-40 round for the day. Juilfs shot a 45-44 for an 89 to finish in ninth place. The two golfers will compete next week at the Class B state meet on Tuesday and Wednesday at Pioneers Golf Course in Lincoln.
Other Rockets scorers on the windy day were Mitch Ross 93, Andrew Vogt 102 and Cassidy Lamb 104.
