Junior High Music Contest

The 8th Grade Choir brought home high honors last Saturday after competing in the Tri-County Music Invite. Solos and small groups have competed in previous years, but this year the students decided it was time to take a large ensemble to contest. The 24 students who volunteered to sing were awarded not only the highest rating possible (Superior+), but also the highest rating of all the large vocal ensembles. Several students also participated in small groups or solos, receiving scores ranging from Excellent+ to Superior. Students who participated in Saturday’s contest include: Connor Callahan, Ashley Griswell, Marty Kreifels, Cassi Rippe, Morgan Robertson, Brittany Siepelmeier, Jamie Thoms, Brett Weiler, Andrew Zahn, Connor Bohlken, Jon Burr, Macy Clark, Mitch Goering, Terra Hartman, Justine Helton, Jason Hutchison, Shane Keslar, Ethan Manley, Brittany McCoy, Megan McLey, Mickenna Shannon, Jessa Swanson, Nicole Swiercek, and Ashleigh Teten.
