SDA Students do well at History Day

On Wednesday, February 27th, 52 students from SDA High School and Middle School competed at the District History Day contest at Peru State College. The students competed in a variety of different types of projects based upon the National History Day Theme of "Conflict and Compromise". The top three finishers in each category qualify for the State Competition to be held at Lincoln in April. Seventeen, students qualified for the State competition with Brittany Siepelmeier and Ashley Griswell winning the Peru Historical Foundation award for the best entry involving a person or event in Southeast Nebraska.
