Power School Log-In Problems

Log-in Problems After PS Upgrade

by Craig Mcley

August 01, 2005

If you are experiencing PowerSchool Log-in problems, please follow the following solutions to this issue

Many of these issues are due to your browser keeping your temporary internet files,  internet history and cache intact.  You must clear all of these to help resolve your log-in issues.  Once you have completed the tasks listed below, you will need to restart your browser.

I have listed several items to check and clear and have illustrations below:

For Internet Explorer:

If you are having trouble logging into Power School, you may need to do the following.

1.       Open your internet options

2.       Under Temporary Files, you need to click on the “delete files” button in the middle of the window.

3.       You should also “Clear History”

4.       Also in I.E. You need to click on the Internet Settings and make sure that your “every visit to the page” is clicked.  This will refresh your screen on each Power School page.  (See below)

5.       In FireFox, you need to open up your “Tools/Options” and clear the history and you’re your cache (See Below)
